Compassionate, driven, energetic individual with 2 years of experience in the pathology of HSV by exploring its mechanisms of entry and evasion through its cellular receptor nectin-1. I have an unbreakable passion to merge cultural studies with laboratory sciences as a more inclusive approach to healthcare. I also hold a deep and intimate passion for education in terms of healthcare specifically in underrepresented communities.  For this reason, I am working to incorporate my knowledge of cultural disparities, laboratory skills and ultimately my love for humanity and medicine to enhance the lives of those living in the margins.
