I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Biochemistry and an M.S. in Chemistry. For my Ph.D., I worked in the lab of David R. Liu at Harvard University. My doctoral work focused on using protein engineering and phage-assisted continuous evolution to develop enhanced base editors and prime editors. Now, as a Junior Fellow in the Harvard Society of Fellows, I am trilled to be learning about microglia biology in the Stevens Lab. During my post doctoral work, I am studying the genetic determinants of microglial functions in health and disease. I hope to answer these questions by deploying newly-developed in vitro models and genome editing technologies.
