I completed my graduate studies at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro/ Brazil, working on the role of microglial cells in Alzheimer’s disease. I joined the laboratory of Paul Greengard in 2015 as a Pew Latin American fellow, where I continued my studies on the role of microglial cells in Alzheimer’s disease. More recently, I was very fortunate to join the Stevens lab. My current work in the Stevens lab and the Greengard Lab is focused on investigating how neuro-immune interactions modulate learning and memory.
