Matthew Baum

Matt is an MD-PhD student in the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Science and Technology (MD) and the Harvard Program in Neuroscience (PhD). He grew up in Colorado, Arizona, and Massachusetts and graduated with a B.S. and M.S. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from Yale University. He subsequently progressed steadily eastward to complete an M.Sc. in Neuroscience at Trinity College Dublin as a George Mitchell Scholar, and then a D.Phil. in Neuroethics at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. Since boomeranging back to Boston and the Stevens Lab he has been investigating a potential role for neural-immune interactions in the development of psychiatric disease.
