This July we gathered for our annual Lab Retreat, a day filled with lobster, beach games, and well-earned time together in the sun. On Monday we took the day off from work and carpooled to Gloucester, a beautiful beach town on the North Shore. The lab enjoyed playing Spikeball in the sand, swimming, and dinner and drinks on the house deck. It was great to chat about research and our personal lives and see fellow lab-mates after last year's Retreat was cancelled due to the pandemic. We capped the evening off by releasing floating lanterns into the evening sunset. These events remind us of how special our lab is and how much fun science can be!
