I earned my first M.S. in Biotechnology from the University of Western Australia and worked on my thesis with Dr. Sébastien Malinge at the Telethon Kids Institute, focusing on dissecting heterogeneity in Down Syndrome associated Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia using single-cell sequencing technologies. I stayed with the same team as a research assistant for 2 years after graduation and continued exploring more exciting projects by conducting laboratory experiments and analyzing bioinformatics data. Later, my interest in bioinformatics led me to complete a second M.S. in Bioinformatics from Loyola University Chicago. Now, as a computational associate in the Stevens Lab, I am very excited to support neuroimmunology research projects through computational analysis.
