Igraduated from the Program in Neuroscience at Harvard, where under the mentorship of Dr. Dennis Selkoe, my thesis focused on understanding the in vivo economy of beta-amyloid peptide in Alzheimer’s disease-type pathology.  Before transplanting to Boston, I was a UW Husky studying biochemistry in Seattle, WA.  I grew up in South Korea, Indonesia and Brunei.  I am very interested in how neurons and glia interact to develop and maintain functional synapses and also what developmental factors may be reactivated during disease.  I joined the Stevens lab on November 26, 2012— and I am very excited to become fully integrated into this stimulating and jovial community!
