I graduated from the University of Vermont (UVM) in 2022 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Molecular Genetics. At UVM, I worked in the Krementsov lab for 4 years studying the long non-coding RNA U90926 and its protein coding potential under immunological challenges. In the Stevens lab, I work on two projects in brain borders team: the first investigates the function of border associated macrophages around the circadian clock and their role in age-related disease. The second aims to uncover the immune composition of the meninges during development and early life infection. I am excited to uncover more of the many unknowns about our immune system especially in the brain and its borders!
