I graduated from the University of Vermont in 2022 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Molecular Genetics. At UVM, I did research in the Krementsov lab for 4 years and defended my undergraduate thesis from this work. My project focused on characterizing the long non-coding RNA U90926 and its protein coding potential. I worked to characterize this protein and determine its function in vitro and in vivo. Currently, in the Stevens lab I am investigating immune cells in the brain. Specifically, B cells in the meninges during development and CNS board associated macrophages in the perivascular space. I am excited to continue to learn about immunology and neurobiology and learn new and exciting techniques!!
